We're so glad we had Dogwatch put in our Hidden Fence System - our lab loved to run away as soon as he got outside, but since we've put in the fence, he hasn't left our property once......not even when other dogs come by. The system has never given us a problem and when we did call for a new battery or questions regarding training, Tom and Kristin's response was always prompt and professional. They were also very patient and gave us the encouragement we needed with the initial training. We liked our system so much, we recommended it to our neighbors who have two dogs, one which we thought would never stay on his property , but it works great for them now as well. What a relief it is to be able to go outside and know that your dog is safe within the boundaries of your property. Thank you, Dogwatch!

Money well spent for the peace of mind it provides

Having had a Dogwatch system installed at our home up north, we knew when we got our second dog that we'd install one here in Sanibel. We knew from the get-go that Tom knew his stuff, so we had him do ours here. You would never know that the line had been installed around the property. He left it exactly as it was before, with barely a pebble out of place. The same for the transmitter box which he was neatly able to install in a location where it wouldn't be seen.

Our older dog was a quick learn as he was familiar with the flags and the beep signal from the collar. Our four month old Great Dane puppy who is a giant goof-ball we were sure would not get the drift, but with just the "beep" turned on the collar, Tom had him avoiding the flag line after a few minutes.

How about someone showing up when they said they would? Amazing. Tom was here on time and we hardly even knew he was doing the installation.

We couldn't recommend Tom Schmidt and DogWatch more highly. Having the in-ground fence is like buying a life insurance policy for your dog. Money well spent for the peace of mind it provides.

After significant research, the features of this company are more advanced and customer friendly than any other outfit and the firm is locally owned, which is a game changer. The owner is hands-on, responsive, clearly engaged in making the customer happy and does not hesitate to go the extra mile. Tom was incredibly helpful through the install and training process! We LOVE the smart system with battery backup as it has told us when a GFCI breaker in the house has been tripped and notifies Dog Watch the barrier may be compromised.

Our 2 Belgian Malinois have trained to the barrier easily and humanely.

I must say our “runner” now loves to stay home now that the barrier is in place.

Mike and I are so pleased with the Hidden Fence System from Dog Watch. The Fence combined with great service made the experience so satisfying. We were really worried about our Gigi, as she is so active, and chases everything. Thought for sure she’d go through it. But, both Gigi and her sister Sydney are doing so great! They get so much exercise and love the freedom to run and play, and chase to a certain point. By the end of the day they are so exhausted and ready to relax. Great customer service

Tom literally came to my rescue! We were leaving for vacation and there was a breach in my diy dog fence! Tom agreed to come out and help find the break and possibly fix it if possible... rats had destroyed so much of it but still Tom was willing to fix. After seeing the difference in diy and professional wire, collars and transmitter I decided it was worth it to have Tom install a new fence. He showed up on time, did what he said he would and all with a smile on his face! Great customer service!! Thanks so much Tom!!
